Girls Weekend!

We started a new tradition in our family called the Girlie Girl Weekend! The name itself sounds like fun doesn't it?  Anyway, the girls in our family get together once a year to have a fun time and enjoy being a girl!  So far, the rules are you leave husband and kids at home (except for nursing babies of course) and come ready for a fun time!
Here is the beginning of the weekend... I picked up Sarah and Eli and then we picked up Tana in St. George and Laura in Las Vegas at the airport!  It was amazing all of our pick-ups worked right on schedule.
We made it to our HOTEL and couldn't wait to relax by the pool.
Here is Laura relaxing by the pool..
Mary and Tana relaxing... it was our version of TIME OUT FOR WOMEN!
Sarah and Eli having a nice quiet time by the pool... Eli was enjoying the weekend with the girls!
We decided to take the shuttle to the Strip and go to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch.  Our shuttle driver, Hank was so helpful to secure Eli's car seat and stroller, so we were very worried when  he about died on the shuttle ride!  After a coughing, breathing spell, he had to stop the shuttle and throw up or something!  We didn't dare look.  Tana was grossed out!  I thought I was going to have to go drive the shuttle!  HA HA
Sarah is excited Hank didn't die and we are back on the rode heading toward the Strip!  And really excited that she didn't have to go drive the shuttle!
Eli thinks we are silly and wonders what all the talk is about!  Needless to say, the shuttle ride was funny and we loved it!
Here we are in front of the Mirage.....the water fountain was so pretty.
We make it to the Cheesecake Factory!  YEAH
Of course we had to order cheesecake... here is our  RED VELVET cheesecake... it was to die for!  YUMMY
Laura, Sarah and Eli watching the Statues at Caesar's Palace come to life!
After shopping at the outlet mall for a few hours, we came back to our room and made matching T-shirts.  I think they turned out cute.  Now we have to plan a time when we can wear them!
Sarah putting the final touches on her T-shirt
Here is the finished product!
Tana is modeling her T-shirt and telling us funny stories!  She is one funny girl!
Eli wanted some quiet time to watch TV without all that girl talk!   He is watching TV and rubbing the sheet on his face.
He  is as happy as he can be!
Packing up the next morning to go shopping and exploring in LAS VEGAS!
Aunt Tana fixed Eli's hair, now he is ready to go shopping.
Our lunch spot~  Sarah was so excited to eat here!
What to order..... everything looked so good!  Our lunch was great!
Tana and Laura having a pedicure... Sarah and I played with Eli.
Ah... this bed was so soft.. Sarah wanted us to leave her here and come back and pick her up when we were done!
Laura tried the bed and wanted us to leave her here too!  It was a soft bed!  But, we had to get back to shopping
Tana and Laura looking over the Build-A-Bear clothes... Tana wants to bring her boys and let them build a bear.  It was a cute shop.
Here is our little snugly bear, sound asleep.
Trying on clothes at the GAP!  We didn't use the changing room, they are for sissies!

Can anyone do this pose?
WE CAN!!!!  Look at our YOGA moves!
Time for some ice cream, all this shopping and Yoga has made us hungry!
Eli and Aunt Laura at the Food Court.
Sarah at the food court enjoying her mini blizzard!
We really love Girls Weekend!

Thanks to my "daughters" for a great weekend.  You are such beautiful girls and wonderful mothers.  Can't wait until our next Girlie Girl weekend!
