A Day at the Beach

We spent a few hours at Newport beach while on our trip to California. There is something about the beach that draws me in and I feel like a calm person at the beach!  I look out at the horizon and ponder on the great expanse of the earth and know there is a God.  The beach is very calming to me, maybe it is the steady sound of waves hitting the shore, or the smell of salt water... I don't know, but I like it.  Our grandchildren loved the beach and had a fun time.  We had a nice picnic and enjoyed some sunshine.

Disneyland Day 2

Disneyland

We went to Disneyland with Laura and Ben and their family. It was a great time. Here are pictures of the first day.

Taking the shuttle to DISNEYLAND at 7:00am.   Laura made cute T-shirts for the kids to wear so we could spot them easy!

Cars Ride... we rode 2 times the first day.  It was fun.

I thought Cars Land looked cool at night.  I felt like I was in the movie.

We went to the World of Color show that night it was good and fun to be there, but I didn't like waiting for the show to start.  BOO HOO.
We did most of California adventure, but I didn't take any other pictures... I guess I was too busy having fun.  It was a good day.
