Football Game

This year we bought tickets to the Cougar Football Games.  Our first game was last Friday and we had a tailgate party.  I am glad we had a tailgate party because the game turned out to be a real old fashioned butt-kicking, and we were on the losing side.  I am hoping for better games for the rest of the season.
Don't spread the word too far, but sometimes when I go to football games, I spend more time looking at the crowd and cheerleaders than I do watching the game!  For example, there was a guy sitting a few rows back that had on a helmet with an statue of Angel Moroni glued to the top of the helmet!  It was so nerdy, but funny. Another lady was wearing a cape!  Who wears a cape to a football game? .... anyway, I digress, back to the fun tailgate party.  This is when we were happy and thought our team would win!

Zach stopped by to chat.  He is so cute, I love getting caught up on what he is doing with his life.  He is a full -time student and loves the COUGARS.

Here's Dad, he is ready for the big game.  He loves going to games and being with  the family.  He always says that this is his thing!

Summer is over?

 How did it go by so fast? With Labor Day ending, we can wave Summer 2011 good-bye.

Just add in a Wedding and a new Grandson too!  It was a great Summer.  I am looking forward to Fall.  We bought tickets to BYU football games, we will be keeping the road busy in September and October!

New Boat

Every year in the summer, we talk about getting a boat.  Actually a new boat, because we have a 1977 Marlin that still runs somewhat, and is in decent shape.  AND, every year, we talk ourselves out of getting a boat.  Well, not this year!  We got a new BOAT.  We can't even believe how it happened.
We were picking up our grandkids to tend for a few days, and came across this boat and one thing lead to another and WHA LA, we now have a new boat.
It is a 2006 Regal 2000 and looks like this:

I haven't had time to take actual pictures of the boat yet, but I will post them when I do.  

We took it out today and she runs great!
